Head Coach
Gallup, a 1999 Gloversville High School graduate, is the school’s only four-year Division I basketball scholarship player. A two-time Foothills Council and Section 2 All-Star and the 1999 Player of the Year, he totaled 991 points, 250+ rebounds, and 200+ assists in two seasons as the Dragons’ starting point guard. He also played with the Albany City Rocks AAU program and completed a postgraduate year at Bridgton Academy.
He continued his career at the University at Albany and Coastal Carolina, earning all-conference honors and team MVP awards at both schools while finishing with 1,359 Division I points and shooting over 40% from three. Professionally, he played in Germany’s top league, won championships with the Schenectady Legends and Albany Patroons, earned NBA tryouts with the Knicks and Hornets, and joined Team Fredette during its TBT Final Four run.
Gallup retired at 38 and became head coach at Fulton-Montgomery Community College the following year. Taking over a 5–17 team, he quickly produced an 11–11 season and a Region III Tournament appearance, then led the Raiders to a 20–8 record, their first Region III title in 17 years, and their first NJCAA Tournament trip in 16 years, highlighted by several wins over nationally ranked opponents.
In year three, he guided the Raiders to a 26–5 record, and a program-record 17-game win streak. The team made back-to-back Region III title games and national tournament appearances, led the region in scoring and field-goal percentage again, and earned its first national tournament win since 2007. Gallup also became the fastest coach in program history to reach 50 wins and was named Conference, Region III, and North District Coach of the Year.
Each summer, he also coaches as the head coach of Floyd Mayweather’s The Money Team in TBT. Under his leadership, the team has reached the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 and earned major wins over Ohio State and Purdue alumni teams, featuring former NBA players such as Jimmer Fredette, Trevor Booker, Mitch Creek, Xavier Munford, Terrico White, CJ Elleby, Charles Jenkins, and Malcolm Thomas.
Coach Gallup also spent the summer of 2025 as an assistant coach/advisor on Team USA Basketball 3x3.

From Coach Gallup:
“Eddy and I met many years ago as teammates ironically at a post grad prep school: Bridgton Academy. That was over 20 years ago and we have remained the best of friends since. That foundation alone separate from anything to do with basketball is something we are very excited about building for our guys and their friendships going forward. Eddy is to me literally the perfect person for his role at PPG with his high level basketball experience couple with the fact that he attended a post grad and has also worked at some very prestigious private/prep schools for over ten years. Our kids are going to learn a lot and love their time with Coach Davis I have no doubt! “

From Coach Gallup:
“Tj was one of the first people I contacted when PPG was very early in just the idea stages. I knew for sure if I could make it a reality that in order to build something great you need great people involved. Tj is that. Everyone knows how great of a job he did as an older brother to Jimmer and the awesome journey they have been on. I know first hand from many years working along side TJ in TBT how great of a basketball mind he has. He has a very good eye for players and positions and what guys fit in what roles and to me thats one of the most valuable resources for any basketball team to have. We are extremely happy to have T a part of the PPG family and hes going to be a huge asset going forward!”
